Extraordinary's Network
Extraordinary operates its own fully redundant, diverse fibre BGP4 network (AS30827) on Juniper carrier-grade routers, with direct connectivity to LINX and Tier-1 networks. If one Internet route fails, traffic is automatically rerouted via alternative paths to maintain service.
Extraordinary is also a member of RIPE—the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East—responsible for IP and AS allocations.
LINX
Extraordinary connects directly to the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the world’s largest and most established internet exchanges. Our presence at LINX London delivers low-latency connectivity and direct peering with hundreds of networks.
To further strengthen connectivity across the UK, we also maintain a presence at LINX Scotland in Edinburgh, enabling efficient local peering and lower latency for Scottish traffic while enhancing resilience and routing.
